Job Description

As a Hoist and Winch Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hoisting equipment at various construction and mining sites. This role requires ensuring the safety and efficiency of the hoisting systems while adhering to strict safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage hoisting operations while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment usage.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced operators.
• Ensure all safety gear is used and maintained correctly.
• Assist in lifting and moving heavy materials as required.
• Report any safety incidents or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Hoisting Certification preferred

Experience

• Two years of experience in a similar role in construction or mining settings

• Heavy Equipment Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent
