Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Geelong. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing construction activities from conception to completion. This role is vital to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations on construction sites, managing daily activities and ensuring adherence to project plans.
• Prepare tender documents and assist in the selection of subcontractors.
• Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Maintain records of site activities and prepare accurate reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and apprentices.
• Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Construction Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on management roles
