Job Description

Join our bakery team as a Dough Brake Machine Operator! You will play a key role in the dough production process, operating machinery, adjusting settings for consistency, and monitoring the quality of our dough to uphold our high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate dough brake machines to maximise efficiency.
  • Conduct quality checks on dough to ensure standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine operation issues swiftly.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Assist in training junior operators on best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
  • Assist in inventory management of dough production supplies.
  • Implement and uphold best practices for machine maintenance.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant technical qualifications in food processing or machinery
Experience
  • Experience in all aspects of bakery production is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of dough production processes
  • Physical Stamina
