Transportation Technician

Job Description

The Transportation Technician will be responsible for designing and implementing transportation systems including roads, highways, and bridges. This role requires adept knowledge in engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, ensuring projects meet safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of existing transportation infrastructures.
• Provide technical support for transportation projects.
• Prepare feasibility studies and cost estimates.
• Engage with community groups for stakeholder feedback.
• Work with project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Utilise design software such as AutoCAD and Synchro.
• Participate in road safety audits and evaluations.
• Document all project phases for compliance and reporting.
• Manage multiple projects effectively.
• Promote safety and sustainability in all operations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation engineering.
