Job Description

The Materials Expediter is essential to our supply chain management, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies crucial for project success. You'll collaborate closely with various internal departments and external vendors to meet deadlines while maintaining inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Track and expedite orders to meet production deadlines.
• Collaborate with Procurement team to identify potential vendors and negotiate pricing.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to materials delivery or quality.
• Prepare reports on material usage, cost, and availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams and support other areas of supply chain management as required.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certification in logistics or supply chain management

Experience

• Understanding of procurement processes and inventory management

Languages
