EEG Technologist

Job Description

As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalographic (EEG) tests, attaching electrodes, and monitoring brain activity. You will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety during the process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate EEG recording devices for comprehensive testing.
• Provide direct support to patients before, during, and after testing.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot issues with EEG recordings.
• Interpret abnormal EEG patterns for referral to physicians.
• Support technology upgrades and participate in training.
• Contribute to the development of departmental protocols and procedures.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Master's degree in Neuroscience or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Experience with advanced EEG equipment and software.
