As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalographic (EEG) tests, attaching electrodes, and monitoring brain activity. You will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety during the process.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate EEG recording devices for comprehensive testing.
Provide direct support to patients before, during, and after testing.
Evaluate and troubleshoot issues with EEG recordings.
Interpret abnormal EEG patterns for referral to physicians.
Support technology upgrades and participate in training.
Contribute to the development of departmental protocols and procedures.
Assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
Master's degree in Neuroscience or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Experience with advanced EEG equipment and software.
