We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our compassionate team on the Central Coast. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessment and treatment planning, and a strong commitment to promoting mental health in the community. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate their mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Utilise therapeutic modalities to facilitate client healing.
• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals to deliver optimal care.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
• Document client interactions and progress accurately.
• Participate in ongoing training opportunities.
• Provide support and guidance to clients in crisis situations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or related field
• Doctorate in Psychology is highly regarded

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in psychology

Technical Skills

• Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
• Trauma-Informed Care

Soft Skills

• Listening Skills
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Registered Psychologist in Australia
• Clinical Psychology Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Cultural Competency Training: Knowledge of culturally responsive therapy practices.
• Experience with Telehealth Services: Familiarity with providing psychological services via telehealth.
