Job Description

As a Youth Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance and support to young people in need. You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement programs that address youth needs. Your work will help empower young individuals to overcome challenges and thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to engage and support young people in the community.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and adapt as necessary.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for young people on various social issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to connect youth with necessary services.
  • Monitor and assess the well-being of young clients and provide recommendations.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualification in Youth Work or Community Services
Experience
  • Experience working with diverse youth populations, including culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
