Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of all medications.
  • Counsel patients regarding their pharmaceutical needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimise medication therapy.
  • Conduct medication reviews and safety checks.
  • Provide guidance on over-the-counter medications and supplements.
  • Participate in clinical audits and compliance inspections.
  • Maintain a sterile and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Assist in managing pharmacy finances and budgets.
  • Serve as a resource for health information and education.
  • Advise on lifestyle changes to improve health outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in clinical pharmacy preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
