Job Description

As a flooring contractor, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining different types of flooring, such as hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl in both residential and commercial settings. The role requires precision in your work, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install flooring materials according to project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of job sites by cleaning and clearing areas for installation.
• Ensure proper safety measures are adhered to during the installation process.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship while following best practices.
• Document daily progress and communicate any issues to the project manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client queries professionally.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance installation skills and techniques.
• Work collaboratively with other trades to ensure efficient project completion.

Advantageous

• Experience with floor restoration techniques: Knowledge of repairing and restoring existing flooring.
• Supervisory experience: Experience leading a small team of flooring contractors.
