Job Description

We are looking for a Yarn Preparation Supervisor who will oversee and optimise the yarn manufacturing process, lead a team of skilled workers, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the activities of the yarn production team and oversee daily operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate equipment performance, addressing issues promptly.
  • Develop strategies to enhance productivity while maintaining quality.
  • Conduct safety audits and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning within the department.
  • Communicate effectively with upper management regarding production updates.
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the production department.
  • Support implementation of new technologies and manufacturing processes.
  • Guide the team in troubleshooting and problem-solving production-related challenges.
  • Encourage innovation and implement best practices in yarn preparation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in yarn preparation or textile manufacturing is preferred.
