Job Description

As a Screw Machine Tender, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of screw machines in our manufacturing facility. Your role is pivotal to ensuring efficient production and quality output.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate screw machines according to specifications.
• Ensure machine performance meets production criteria.
• Inspect finished products for quality compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance and production metrics.
• Collaborate on process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in preparing machinery for production runs.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience with programming and operating precision machining equipment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Computer skills
• Lean Manufacturing principles

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Flexibility

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• ISO 9001 certification: Experience working in an ISO 9001 compliant environment is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing training: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is advantageous.
