Job Description

We are seeking an Adjunct Physics Instructor to join our team of experienced educators. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate physics courses and contribute to developing innovative curriculum materials.

Responsibilities

  • Lead undergraduate physics classes in a dynamic and engaging manner.
  • Create, develop, and revise course materials and instructional resources.
  • Collaborate with faculty to design and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Assist in departmental outreach and community engagement efforts.
  • Provide guidance to students regarding academic and career opportunities.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to discussions on curriculum improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in physics and education.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion within the classroom and department.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Physics or a related field
  • PhD in Physics is highly regarded
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years teaching physics at the tertiary level is required
