Tractor Mechanic Helper

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Tractor Mechanic Helper to join our dedicated team. This role will involve assisting the lead mechanic with various tasks related to maintaining, repairing, and servicing tractors. You will be instrumental in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing routine maintenance to ensure the equipment operates efficiently. Responsibilities

• Support lead mechanic in troubleshooting and repairing tractors.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Assist in the inventory management of spare parts and tools.
• Document all repairs and services performed on machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area to uphold safety practices.
• Collaborate closely with other mechanics and staff to ensure effective workflow.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge.
• Assist with mechanical tasks as directed by the lead mechanic.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational or technical qualification in automotive mechanics or a related field

Experience

• Previous experience as a mechanic helper or in a similar role is preferred.
