Job Description

As a Ski Patroller, you'll play a vital role in maintaining safety on the slopes. You'll provide medical assistance to guests in need, engage in rescue operations, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all.

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Collaborate with medical first responders during emergencies.
• Educate guests about safe skiing practices and slope etiquette.
• Conduct regular safety assessments of ski trails and facilities.
• Participate in drills and training sessions for rescue operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Assist in lift evacuation procedures when required.
• Prepare reports on incidents and safety concerns for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in emergency management preferred

Experience

• Experience in mountain rescue or outdoor emergency response.

Technical Skills

• Advanced First Aid
• Skiing/Snowboarding Skills

Soft Skills

• Calm Under Pressure
• Leadership Skills

Certifications

• Advanced Avalanche Certification
• Paramedic or EMT Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Ski Area Maintenance and Grooming: Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of ski slopes.
