Job Description

As a Barrel Racer, you will be responsible for competing in rodeos and various equine events. Your role will involve training and caring for horses, participating in thrilling races, and aiming to achieve the fastest time navigating a course of three barrels. Show your skills and dedication in the exciting world of rodeo.

Responsibilities

• Display sportsmanship and professionalism during competitions.
• Quickly assess horse wellbeing before and after races.
• Maintain strong communication with support staff and trainers.
• Participate actively in conditioning and training sessions.
• Display adherence to all safety protocols during events.
• Develop strategies to optimize horse performance in various conditions.
• Engage in physical training to enhance personal fitness levels.
• Analyze and understand the intricacies of course design.

Requirements

Education

• Professional Association of Rodeo Cowboys (PARC) membership

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in competitive rodeo events
