Healthcare Social Worker

Job Description

As a Healthcare Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals and families through challenging situations. You'll work collaboratively with a team of professionals to develop tailored support plans that address social, economic, and health-related challenges encountered by clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address the social factors impacting client health and well-being.
• Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate clients about available resources and support systems.
• Develop community programs to improve social welfare.
• Help reduce barriers to accessing social services and healthcare.
• Create and maintain a positive and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in a related area is a plus

Experience

• At least 2 years working with vulnerable populations

Certifications

• Certified Social Worker

Languages

• English: Fluent
