Responsibilities

• File income tax returns accurately and in compliance with local regulations.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize their tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest changes in tax laws affecting individuals and businesses.
• Provide support to team members during tax season, reviewing their work to maintain quality standards.
• Present financial findings to clients that highlight tax implications and planning options.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Contribute to team meetings and collaborate on best practices for tax preparation.
• Assist in training junior tax preparers and interns.
• Keep track of client deadlines and follow up as necessary.
• Implement a thorough review process to improve accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Certified Income Tax Preparer (CTP) certification
• Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in tax preparation and advisory roles.
