Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Equipment Operator to manage and maintain the Monovinylacetylene Reactor. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving abilities, contributing to our mission of producing top-quality chemicals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational aspects of the MVA Reactor, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the production process.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior operators on best practices.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment functionality and safety compliance.
  • Engage in regular communication with the production team to report any issues.
  • Assist in developing and revising operational documentation and procedures.
  • Support the quality assurance team in maintaining product standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for new staff members on equipment operations.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
  • Document incidents and accidents as per company policy.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in chemical plant operations or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in chemical plant operations or a related field
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Monovinylacetylene Reactor operation
  • Familiarity with chemical process control systems

  • Hazardous Materials Handling Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
