Job Description

We are searching for a skilled and dedicated Furnace Keeper to oversee our metal-refining furnaces. Your primary role will be to manage furnace operations, ensure safety protocols are followed, and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain furnace operations ensuring precise temperature control.
• Implement improvements to optimize furnace performance.
• Manage inventory of materials used in the furnace operations.
• Develop and maintain detailed logs of furnace activities and maintenance.
• Assist in preparing reports on production and operational efficiency.
• Engage in regular discussions with the Plant Manager regarding safety and operational enhancements.
• Support team efforts in process improvements and innovations.
• Participate in the development of safety protocols.
• Assist with compliance audits related to furnace operations.

Requirements

Education

• Preferred relevant technical certifications

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
