Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Tech Innovations Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will collaborate with developers to understand requirements and identify any issues before they reach production. Your expertise in software testing methodologies will be key in enhancing our development processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on testing metrics to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with product managers to prioritize testing activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in QA practices.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
• Train junior QA team members on best practices and methodologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant Quality Assurance experience

Technical Skills

• JIRA
• TestRail

Certifications

• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with mobile app testing: Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with accessibility testing: Knowledge of best practices for accessibility in software applications.
