Furrier Apprentice

Job Description

As a Furrier Apprentice, you will assist our experienced furriers in creating and altering luxurious fur garments. This role is ideal for fashion enthusiasts with an eye for detail who are keen to learn the art of fur making.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior furriers on garment design and alterations.
• Assist in cutting patterns and managing inventory of materials.
• Follow design specifications closely for accurate garment creation.
• Learn to operate industrial sewing machines and equipment safely.
• Keep the work area organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Engage in team meetings to brainstorm improvements and solutions.
• Contribute to the development of new styles and designs.
• Assist in documenting processes and material requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and materials.
• Provide support to sales and customer service teams as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of relevant fashion design courses preferred

Experience

• Experience with luxury brands is advantageous

Technical Skills

Languages
