Job Description

As a Recycling and Reclamation Worker, you will be responsible for managing waste operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and developing effective waste management strategies. This role involves overseeing the safe removal and recycling of materials at various sites, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and document waste management strategies tailored for project needs.
  • Manage relationships with external waste service providers.
  • Provide training on waste management best practices to team members.
  • Monitor and report on waste diversion and recycling rates.
  • Assist in developing community outreach programs to promote recycling.
  • Participate in local initiatives to foster environmental sustainability.
  • Ensure safety compliance of equipment and personnel on site.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in environmental management are advantageous
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of waste management.
