Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in Wodonga. The successful candidate will lead our warehouse team, ensure optimal inventory levels, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse staff schedules and resolve any staffing issues.
• Oversee the shipping and receiving processes to maintain effective flow.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and adjust discrepancies.
• Lead safety training programs to promote a culture of safety.
• Work with purchasing to manage and forecast inventory needs.
• Utilize warehouse management software to enhance operations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand warehouse needs.
• Ensure optimal use of space and resources in the warehouse.
• Drive initiatives to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Act as a point of contact for any operational inquiries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of warehouse management experience

Technical Skills

• Inventory Management
• Warehouse Management Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Forklift License
• Advanced Warehouse Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies: Knowledge of process improvement methodologies to increase operational efficiency.
• Safety Management Certification: Certification in safety management practices will be an added advantage.
