Job Description

As an Agricultural Produce Commission Agent, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the agricultural supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to connect producers with buyers, ensuring that all parties receive fair market value for their goods. You will also provide advisory services that will assist in navigating market dynamics, helping clients make informed decisions. Your expertise will support both producers and buyers to achieve their respective goals, thus fostering a sustainable agricultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist producers in understanding market demand and pricing strategies.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on market conditions, emerging trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding market conditions and client needs.
  • Organise and attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business or related field.
  • Diploma or relevant certification combined with significant industry experience will also be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in agricultural marketing, sales, or related roles.
