Job Description

As a Lead Caster, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire casting process, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards. Your role will involve managing a skilled team of casters and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the casting operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Direct and coach a team of junior casters to enhance performance.
• Oversee the maintenance of casting equipment.
• Drive process improvements and lead initiatives for efficiency.
• Enforce safety compliance and conduct regular safety audits.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to support production goals.
• Maintain documentation and records for audit and quality assurance purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in metal casting operations with management experience

Technical Skills

• 3D Design Software
• Lean Manufacturing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automation in casting processes: Familiarity with automated systems and process optimisation.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification: Certification in Lean Six Sigma highly regarded.
