Job Description
We are on the lookout for a skilled Pilot Control Operator to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This role involves monitoring and controlling UAV flights to ensure safe and efficient operations while adhering to strict aviation regulations.
Responsibilities
Oversee the operation of UAVs during various missions.
Provide detailed operational reports post-mission.
Assist in the development of automated monitoring systems.
Maintain communication with pilots and air traffic controllers.
Resolve operational issues promptly to ensure mission success.
Implement new procedures for enhanced flight safety.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on industry standards.
Contribute to team meetings to discuss operational strategies.
Participate in simulation training for emergency response scenarios.
Requirements
Education
Higher education in aviation or aerospace preferred
Advanced UAV certification desirable
Experience
Experience with multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAVs or both
