Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you'll play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of machinery used in broomcorn production. You will ensure that processes run smoothly and assist in quality control to deliver the finest broomcorn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machinery for the production of broomcorn.
• Inspect and classify broomcorn for defects and quality assurance.
• Document production metrics and provide reports to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
• Assist with machine repairs and maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols when operating machinery and handling materials.
• Participate in regular safety training and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during production.
• Support the training of new team members in machinery operation.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Agriculture or similar field is an advantage

Experience

• Experience in a similar role within agriculture or manufacturing preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience with broomcorn production: Familiarity and experience working specifically with broomcorn machinery.
