Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Meeting, Convention, and Event Planner to oversee the planning and execution of large-scale events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event management and a keen eye for detail, ensuring each event runs smoothly and meets client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire event planning process from start to finish.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ascertain their requirements.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain optimal pricing.
  • Create timelines and checklists to assist in event planning.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
  • Engage in post-event debriefings with clients to gather feedback.
  • Maintain and monitor all event-related documentation.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of event staff.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for event management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Experience
  • Experience in managing large-scale events with multiple stakeholders.
