Job Description

We're on the lookout for skilled Roof Bolters in Mining to operate essential bolting machinery. You'll work closely with engineering and project management teams to uphold safety and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of bolting machines and equipment in the mining sector.
• Train new hires on machinery operation and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment use and maintenance schedules.
• Actively troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during operations.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures for bolting operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role within mining or engineering environments

Technical Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Safety protocols understanding

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift licence (advantageous)
• Working at heights certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent
