Hot-Top-Liner Helper

Job Description

The Hot-Top-Liner Helper plays a crucial role in assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of hot-top lining systems within our metalcasting operations. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, ability to follow instructions, and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Help with the preparation and installation of hot-top liners in the furnace.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of the furnace lining during operation.
• Assist with the pouring of molten metal into the furnace.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on equipment and the furnace.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and communicate effectively with other team members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction role is preferred, but not required.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift License: Certification to operate a forklift safely.
