Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Hand Sprayer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and applying paints, coatings, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces using hand-held spray guns. The role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for work by ensuring all tools are clean and operational.
• Follow detailed project specifications for painting, including color matching.
• Ensure that all health and safety policies are strictly followed by all team members.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project goals and progress.
• Help train new team members on safety procedures and best practices.
• Handle hazardous materials responsibly and according to regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
• White Card

Experience

• 2+ years of practical experience in spray painting.

Technical Skills

• Experience with spray equipment
• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Ability to interpret technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Working at Heights Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with industrial painting: Hands-on experience in larger-scale industrial painting projects.
• HVLP spray equipment experience: Familiarity with high volume low pressure spray systems.
