Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating specialty materials printing machines, ensuring high-quality production runs while complying with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain printing machinery for specialty materials.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure production accuracy.
• Document production processes and outcomes.
• Assist in training new operators on machine setup and operation.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Comply with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in printing or related field is preferred.

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a printing environment.

Certifications

• Printing Industry Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a leadership role: Experience training and supervising junior operators in a workshop environment.
