We are seeking a dedicated Tax Consultant to join our Bunbury office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Australian taxation landscape and offer valuable insights to our clients. You will help individuals and businesses maximise their tax efficiency and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of client financial situations for effective tax planning.
• Provide guidance on various tax-related issues affecting clients.
• Prepare detailed reports on tax compliance and planning strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery.
• Monitor and analyse changes in tax legislation.
• Educate clients on tax obligations and benefits.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars for clients to promote tax literacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Master's degree in Taxation or Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation

Technical Skills

• Tax Legislation Knowledge
• Tax Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Certified Tax Advisor (CTA)
• Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants (FCA) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
