C4I Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated C4I Officer to manage and operate command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and security of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and test communication and information systems.
• Manage the installation and upgrade of C4I software and hardware.
• Prepare documentation for C4I system processes and changes.
• Advise on best practices for system security and operations.
• Act as a liaison between operational teams and technology providers.
• Implement strategic initiatives to improve system efficiency.
• Assist in the development of operational protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
• Relevant security clearances are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Defence/Military environments

Technical Skills

• Security systems and protocols
• Communications technology

Soft Skills

• Leadership skills
• Time management

Certifications

• ITIL

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Australian Defence Force operations: Understanding of how the ADF operates and its structures.
• Security clearances: Relevant security clearances to access sensitive information.
