Valve Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a Valve Mechanic to join our team who will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and repair of valves used in various sectors like oil and gas and petrochemicals. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to solve maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve valve performance problems.
• Read and interpret valve schematics and specifications.
• Work closely with engineering teams to implement process improvements.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
• Maintain and operate valve testing and diagnostic equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in Valve Fitting/Mechanic or related field
• Additional technical training preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in valve repair and maintenance
