As a Diagnostic Medical Physicist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medical imaging technology. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize imaging processes and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the development of imaging protocols to optimize patient care.
• Perform audits and risk assessments on imaging practices to ensure compliance.
• Educate staff on best practices for radiation safety and image acquisition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve imaging workflows.
• Respond to any incidents concerning radiation exposure swiftly and effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or Engineering
• Higher qualifications in Medical Physics are advantageous

Experience

• Experience with advanced imaging techniques such as MRI or CT is a plus.
