Job Description

As a Metal Treater, you will play a vital role in applying various treatment techniques to metal and plastic surfaces. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of safety procedures are key to this position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by removing any contaminants before treatment.
  • Utilize various treatment methods to enhance metal surface durability and appearance.
  • Regularly operate and maintain all treatment equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise treatment processes, ensuring quality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct inspections on treated surfaces to identify any issues or adjustment needs.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with peers to resolve any operational challenges.
  • Document treatment processes and inventory of materials utilized.
  • Engage in ongoing learning about new treatment technologies and methods.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in metal treatment is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal treatment or related field.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with chemical treatment solutions.
  • Handling of surface finishing tools and machinery.
Soft Skills
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Time management.
Languages
  • English: Fluent
