Machine Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Machine Technician to join our dynamic team. The right candidate will have experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing various types of machinery used in metal and plastic manufacturing. You will be pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections on machinery to certify they are in good working order.
• Conduct machine trials and adjustments to guarantee efficiency.
• Inspect machinery and equipment for wear and damage.
• Record maintenance and repair tasks performed on machinery.
• Take charge of machine tool inventory and stock management.
• Ensure that all safety measures are followed during operations.
• Assist in developing and maintaining operating procedures.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams for project management activities.
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend operational efficiencies.
• Participate in health and safety audits and evaluations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
• First Aid certification (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Machinery Setup and Calibration
• Preventive Maintenance Techniques
• Understanding of Safety Standards

Soft Skills

Advantageous

• Experience in the manufacturing industry: Hands-on experience working within high-precision manufacturing environments.
