Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Checker to join our quality assurance team in Melbourne. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of our products by performing thorough inspections and assessments. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in quality control, and possess a keen eye for detail to identify defects and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality inspections and tests on incoming materials and finished goods.
• Document all quality control activities and results accurately.
• Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and propose corrective actions.
• Interface with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the quality department.
• Manage quality documentation and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Facilitate quality review meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide insights on quality trends and areas for focus during reviews.
• Develop training materials to enhance staff awareness of quality standards.
• Actively engage in team discussions around quality enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Quality Control or related field
• Bachelor's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance roles.

Technical Skills

• Statistical analysis techniques
• Quality management systems

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
