Job Description

As our Health Information Manager, you will oversee the management of patient records and health information systems. You will be at the forefront of implementing technology solutions to support patient care and optimize operational efficiencies. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of patient health information and medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations regarding health information confidentiality and privacy.
  • Implement and maintain electronic health record systems.
  • Supervise health information staff and provide ongoing training.
  • Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of medical documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care through effective information sharing.
  • Develop and enforce policies regarding the handling of patient data.
  • Analyze data for decision making and reporting purposes.
  • Train staff on proper documentation and data management techniques.
  • Stay updated on advancements in health information technology.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in health information management
