Urban Planner

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Urban Planner to contribute to transformative urban projects in Lismore. This role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, conducting research, and providing expertise in land-use planning to deliver sustainable, community-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of strategic urban plans and policies.
• Perform site inspections and report on progress of urban projects.
• Collaborate with local government officials to align strategies.
• Implement community feedback into planning proposals.
• Utilise urban planning software for project design.
• Participate in the preparation of planning reports for councils.
• Coordinate with environmental and transportation agencies.
• Monitor ongoing projects and provide updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or a related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or Environmental Design preferred

Experience

• Minimum 4 years in urban planning or development
