Job Description

As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will manage patient access and referrals to medical services, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective healthcare. Your role is key in facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers, delivering excellent service at every touchpoint.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the patient intake process and ensure scheduling is executed smoothly.
  • Provide timely updates to patients on their referrals and appointment status.
  • Work closely with clinical teams to address and resolve patient queries.
  • Facilitate patient access to various services while minimising delays.
  • Maintain updated knowledge on healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Support the implementation of new patient management systems as required.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare staff to enhance communication.
  • Assist in training new staff members on patient access protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Services Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in patient access or healthcare administration
