Job Description

We're in search of a Wildlife Manager responsible for overseeing wildlife conservation programs and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing wildlife and leading conservation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of wildlife rehabilitation programs.
  • Develop partnerships with local communities and stakeholders.
  • Lead conservation projects and initiatives with a focus on native species.
  • Facilitate training programs for staff and volunteers.
  • Ensure the organization’s mission and values are upheld in all activities.
  • Conduct site assessments and habitat evaluations.
  • Respond to wildlife emergencies and provide necessary interventions.
  • Monitor funding and budget allocation for various initiatives.
  • Adapt conservation strategies based on research and data analysis.
  • Advocate for wildlife protection policies at local and state levels.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in wildlife conservation and project management
