Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Generator Assembler to become a vital part of our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in assembling and maintaining generators, ensuring they meet all safety standards and operational requirements. You'll play a significant role in the production line, working with advanced machinery and electrical systems to deliver top-notch equipment to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly tasks on generators following strict specifications.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems within the generators.
  • Prepare and maintain an organised workspace for efficient production.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about project status.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes throughout assembly.
  • Ensure timely completion of assembly tasks to meet production schedules.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
  • Electrical license or certification (desirable)
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in generator assembly or related roles.

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with diesel generators: Knowledge of diesel generator systems and maintenance.
