Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal radiation safety regulations.
• Conduct regular training sessions for medical personnel involved with radiation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective safety measures.
• Perform risk assessments and propose improvements in radiation handling practices.
• Facilitate the management of radiation incidents and accidents.
• Provide expert advice on the use of radiation in diagnostic and therapeutic environments.
• Lead safety audits and contribute to safety committees within the organization.
• Organize and maintain safety records for radiation practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree in Radiation Science or Environmental Science is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in radiation safety or a relevant role
