Production Worker - Stacker

Job Description

As a Stacker, you will contribute significantly to our warehousing operations. Your main responsibility will be to operate equipment that stacks goods accurately and safely. This includes loading and unloading materials, inspecting stacking equipment for optimal performance, and working closely with team members to achieve production goals. Strong physical stamina and reliability in following safety guidelines are key requirements for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain stacking machinery to load and unload products.
• Ensure proper placement and alignment of materials for optimal storage.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of stacking equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep the workplace clean and organised.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
• Utilize handheld devices for tracking stock movement and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate records of stacked items and their locations.
• Assist in inventory audits and stocktaking as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
