Job Description
We are seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to design, analyze, and ensure the compliance of piping systems within the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to create robust design solutions.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed stress analysis and evaluation of piping systems.
Design effective pipe support systems tailored to specific project needs.
Work in tandem with project managers during construction phases.
Prepare and maintain project documentation including design calculations.
Interact with various engineering disciplines to ensure system integrity.
Conduct field inspections and manage project timelines.
Train and mentor new engineering staff.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and estimates.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
Membership with the Institution of Engineers Australia
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, particularly with piping systems.
