Responsibilities

• Help prepare the deceased for viewing, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Manage the setup for funeral services, including audio/visual equipment.
• Support the family by providing information and guiding them through the process.
• Handle logistics related to floral deliveries, catering, and transportation needs.
• Assist in developing service programs and coordinating with officiants.
• Create a welcoming environment in the funeral home.
• Engage with the family to ensure their needs are met during the service.
• Ensure all safety and health protocols are followed in handling remains.
• Keep records of services provided for billing and compliance purposes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role within the funeral or healthcare industry is preferred.
