Job Description

We are seeking experienced Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our growing team in Sydney. The successful candidates will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines that crush, grind, and polish materials, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain crushing and grinding machines effectively.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and initiate repairs as needed.
• Assist in training new operators on machine handling and safety protocols.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Document production outputs and machine adjustments for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate closely with all team members to achieve operational efficiency.
• Participate in safety audits and suggest improvements where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade qualification in manufacturing or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with concrete products and machinery is advantageous

• Machinery maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of different types of moulds and techniques: Understanding of various moulding techniques for concrete products.
